as well as inspiration and coaching for those needing guidance at any phase.
Nadia specialises in Unschooling, Life Learning and Road Schooling approaches to home education, with a particular passion for working with Neurodivergent families.

We had pulled our 13 year old ND daughter from school suddenly after a few nasty bullying incidents and decided to unschool her starting immediately! Although I had successfully homeschooled my son 15 years ago I thought I could sail through the application form without any issues. I was so wrong!! Trying to fill in an exemption form detailing an Unschooling Exemption for a ND child was a whole different kettle of fish!! I asked on the Homeschool NZ Facebook page and someone suggested Nadia and her business Learning Our Own Way.
After a few emails we had a friendly Zoom meeting chatting away as Nadia took notes. I knew what I wanted to achieve but couldn’t translate it into the correct terminology and this is where Nadias experience as a teacher and with her education/psychology background really shone through as she could elucidate my words and feelings better than myself. It was an easy seamless process. The amount of work she puts in is phenomenal and well worth the price!!! We were approved with no questions asked.
